On 24.11.2006г.in “Grand Hotel Sofia” Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association bestowed its traditional annual awards for professional achievements in field of hotelier-ship, restaurant-ship and management.

Among the prize winners was Hotel Complex ''Makrelov" which won the Award “City Two Star Hotel of Bulgaria for 2006 year!” This is a very special prize, which gives us the obligation to continue forward proposing our clients better services, products and quality than ever.

On 01.11.2006г. in National Art Gallery building was the ceremony on bestowing the first Awards “Quality Mark “Authentic Bulgaria”. Hotel “Makrelov” won a Bronze Award.

This special award puts us among those hotels which carry the spirits of traditions in Bulgarian hospitality, professional attitude and quality service. It also obliges us to do our job better and better, day after day.

In 1999, the chairman of Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association Mr. Blagoi Ragin, together with Mr. Georgi Pamporov – chairman or the Rhodopian Hotel and Restaurant Association, awarded Mr. Ivan Makrelov – owner of eco hotel MAKRELOV, with “Best Hotel Manager in the Rhodope Region” award.

This is our first award, which determined the way eco hotel MAKRELOV developed during the years – always offering better product and quality for all of you – our esteemed guests.
